Deacon Rogelio Garcia
I am Deacon Rogelio Garcia. As a deacon, I minister to the ill in their homes, hospitals and convalescent facilities. One Saturday of the month I visit the youth in the Rocky Juvenile Center in San Dimas. I am currently serving in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. I also assist as a deacon of the Word-Altar during Sunday Masses. On Saturday’s I preside over the Spanish Baptisms and Quinceañeras. On the 3rd Monday of each month I assist the Prayer Group with the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament/Holy Hour at 7:00pm. Also, I assist Sr. Alicia in presenting themes to the adults who are in preparation to receive their sacraments. I am always available to talk and listen to parishioners, and I serve as a guide to them when they come in need of information to specific resources/assistance centers. I serve this community with a joyful heart, and I am very grateful to be a part of St. Vincent de Paul church. In our daily journey it is rewarding to see all of us walking, sharing and coming together to help each other. I am blessed to have been given the opportunity to be a part of this community.
